Vella’s own spiritual awakening came after a physical injury impacted her life causing her to experience years of intense chronic pain, anxiety, depression, dysregulation in the body and nervous system. From this level of awareness, she began to explore and embrace her own inner trauma buried deeply within the depths of the psyche. By connecting with the omnipresence and deepening into conscious living she met the devotional practice of self-love.
